New fishes.

i went to my LFs to get 6 green cories. Instead of being the usual 5 dollars they were 2.50 each and mnmy LFS has a 2 for 1 sale every sunday. OS instead of getting 6 green cories i got 4 big green cories 4 albino cories and a red tail shark. SO far they have all gotten on good althought the cories are kind of lost in the big tank. The rts is cruising around the tank enjoying itself.

Oh, that reminds me. How big do Red tailed sharks grow? Because my mum likes them (and she doesn't like crabs or frogs but she does like silver sharks which I said NO to).

bout 5-6" i am pretty sure. They are really cool and mine hasnt stopped swimming since i put him in the tank about an hour ago.

6" is absolutle maximum, but they should be kept singly in tanks of 30G or bigger.

O. I was jsut about to look into getting another one because i love the one i just got. He is so active it is amazing. He is always moving. Do tri-color sharks do ok?


the angelfish there were so funny. There was about 30 in a 40 gallon tank and when u put yur finger up to the glass ( not touching) they would all be drwant to it and u could move it around and they would follow u. I wud have bouth some but i am waiting for them to get some in that are less than 5$ so i can get 2 for 1 on sundays. ( i love this sale)

RTBS, with any other shark, won't work. RTBSs are very aggressive to similar looking fish. They are ok while young but once mature, they'll likely kill any less aggressive sharks.

RTS aren't picky, if it has a similar look they could attack.

yeah. All the new fish are great except i may have a cory problem which i posted in the catfish section
