I'm extremely new to this forum, but I'm on a couple other fish forums, and people always ask the size of the tank. Why? Not to jump on someone or just to be mean. They do it because they acre about the fish. I've seen people on other forums who just got a new oscar for their 10 or 20 gallon. Are people just supposed to sit by? I think it's "the right thing to do" to tell people if they're going to need a bigger tank or not. That's what these forums are for, after all...to help people create the perfect enviroments for their fish, and then show them off.

Sorry for butting in ;) Congrats on your new ossie!

hey guys ive been away for awhile, quite a hot topic. I'm sorry for any snappishness, but others have seen and commented on how some people seem to enjoy mkaing people feel little.
Thankyou very much for all the replies. Ive been spending a lot more time with my fish which seems to have made a difference to the big ones jumping, he/she still jumps but only enough to get the operculum out of the water.
A few nibbles to my girlfriends fingers and she no longer pats the little fellow.

Once again thanks for the replies and lets assume that unless someone asks about tank size or is obviously starting out that they can adequately house their new friends. Photos as promised are on the way(just gotta get my digital cam back).
