Went to Wharfs on Saturday, bought 3 honey gourami's, they are staying deep in the undergrowth,coming out now and then,so when I feed the mob, they come up too late, is this normal while settling in??

yes usually at first, they are in a different environment and need to get set up. when feeding save a pinch when they come up to eat and put it in. then they should go for it.
