hi, i just bought 6 black kuhli loaches. it was 6 for £7.50 which i thought was a good price, as they're about 2" long. i think they're really kuhl... get it? they're all hiding out ATM, but i'm hoping that they will get more confident after they've settled in. i was wondering if they'll breed? and i have bought some tetra tabimin fast sinking food for them, how many tablets should i put in daily? and how do i sex them? i'll add some pics later.

I think they're quite hard to breed in captivity though. I think the females tend to be much bigger than the males when they're ready to breed. They'll come out more if they have lots of hiding places, and mine used to be out most of the day when I'd feed them in the morning.
i'm currently planting my tank, so there will be loads more hiding places, even though there are all ready a lot. i can't really tell if any are bigger than others ATM, as they are in a big knot. 
i read about someone who bred some, and i think it would be really cool if they did, but we'll just have to wait and see. i've never bred a fish that's hard to breed before.
