New Fish

I picked up some new fish yesterday , I`ve been after some Mel. Maingano for some time now with no luck and I found these yesterday which I`m really pleased with, Sold as F1.
I also bought a Lone Male Demasoni, I think it was Ferris`s avatar which spurred that purchase on and another 5x Syno Petricola.

I`m really pleased with the fish I bought and are settling in well so far.

Love the Mel. Maingano, beautiful colouration. And definitely a nice Demonsai: look forward to pics of the Sydontis.

I`ll try and get photos of the Syno. Petricola today not easy though as they are a bit shy.
I`m slightly worried about them finding food now theres 7 of them.

I worried about my babies too so I bought some catfish pellets, I turn off the lights at night then wait around 20 mins then I put the pellets in. They must be feeding as I'm sure they've grown since I've had them and they are always scurrying around looking for food. They will be able to reach bits of food that the fish can't get too. Also I feed OSI spirulina flake and a fair bit of that floats under the rocks for them.

Seems ok, infact so far (touch wood) I`d say one of the more placid ones.
2 of the Petricola look like they are having some kind of fight now which seems to be going on a long time. Well I think it`s a fight they are sort grappling or trying to lock mouths. Bit worrying.

The new fish are looking great! The little Demonsai has got great markings. Quick question, is there any agro between your male mpanga and the Demonsai?

keep up the good work.

Also is there any chance of a full tank shot?

Tanks so far not that I have seen but I was a bit nervy about it they had a good look at each other and the Mpanga did sort of size him up but nothing at all since the first day.
BTW the 2 dodgy female Mpanga I bought bit the dust. (1 Euthanised found floating at the surface 1 Found dead, I`m guessing they came with an internal bacterial infection lesson learnt to get a good look at the fish your buying)
Also I now have 4 Females holding ! Both Hongi, Female Lab and the Cobue Female.

looks like a visit to the diy section on how to build tank racks. Im actually cutting down only have 2 tanks.
