Not. But, near enough.

Baby ABK, all 2.5" of him. Eats like a horse.

And extraordinarily cute dwarf giraffe cat

No, hence the 'dwarf'. This is an entirely different species, something (used to be paraucheoglanis I think) macromasta, max size about 9". You don't seriously think I'd buy a true giraffe cat? Well, I'd like to :(

EDIT- 'Tis Anaspirodoglanis macromasta. This http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/claro...spido/102_F.PHP . And this one actually looks like the fish in my pic, as opposed to the one you posted, which anyone can see is completely different.

Well sometimes you don't know till you ask - which is why I asked!

Thought your reference to dwarf was an adjective not a noun! :good:

Very nice pick ups (nice use of the title, I knew you didn't get those fish but I wanted to see what you did get :p ) ABKs are great, I have one (about 5") and it is the polar opposite of my old one, this thing is all over the tank, regardless to who or what is looking at it

Good luck with the fish, the cat sounds great :)

Thanks for the comments :)

I love the ABK, considering I've only had him one day, he's found a gap in the rockery to live in, and he comes out every time I walk past ^_^. Giraffe is still a bit stressy, he refuses to come out of hiding so I have to keep going around the tank with a torch looking for him (to make sure he's OK)...

they like tubes to hide in.. I got a few pieces of pvc pipe for mine to chill in... it stays there most of the day, then at night it swims around.
