New Fish Keeper

I am new to keeping fish and i found a gorgeous fish but im not sure what kind it is or how to tell if its a male or female. can anyone help?

looks like a Cichlid but not sure which one lol....all i know is most cichlids need a same species tank as theyre pretty aggresive

I was going to say a young convict cichlid but i could be wrong.

Possibly a Bumblebee African Cichlid???


There are some pics on Bing Images if you want to compare but have had a look through a few Cichlids and its the closest I can find??

Its definitely an African mbuna cichlid, and a stressed looking Pseudotropheus lombardoi IMO
