I believe I got a really good picture :) She's absolutely beautiful and a joy to watch dart around my 10g nano-reef in progress. I know they have a horrible reputation, hell, I have people come into the LFS to donate them to us because they're terrors!

Regardless, this particular one caught my eye today at work. She was darting around our damsel-only tank, active as can be, just crazy vibrant.

I was just curious though. We have a tank about 10g or so, if you've ever been to petco, you know their display layouts (I believe they all follow a universal planogram) well, we have a lot of damsels in there. Off the top of my head 2 seem to be blue/green chromis, one is a striped, we have a domino, etc. They seem fine in there. Could I introduce another one to my tank? If not, what COULD I introduce?

I may go with a coral banded shrimp as he is rather big to cap the tank off. Currently have a peppermint shrimp, some crabs, some snails, etc.

Hi Donny, please excuse me, I have only had one coffee this morning and my brain doesnt function until Ive had two!

So, are you saying you have three fish or that a tank in the lfs has three fish in?

It okay seffie I've had my lotted amount of coffee today and I am still confused.

I can't tell what your asking.
It sounds like you have just the one damsel in your 10gal tank and you want to know if you can add another one, correct?
I got that you worked at petco and they have a tank with two green chromis and a domino damsel, correct?

If this is correct and you only have one damsel in your 10 gallon tank, yes you could add another one.
I would only add two at the most to 10 gallons.

I wouldn't trust petco though as a source of information of what fish can go with what others.
I have boycotted petco for the past 4 years as the head of the company tells every store how to setup their tanks and they can't set them up how they please.
And the way they are required to set them up is terrible and makes me feel terrible for the fish. I've seem a royal gramma in a 10 gallon with 20 yellow tailed damsels!!!
Very Sad.
