Got myself some new fish the other day, from the look of them they are Aulonocara, all juveniles and pretty small and a lovely bright yellow colour (can see hints of stripes in the correct light).
They look to me like Aulonocara baenschi as you can see a slight blue tinge around the gills and tale.
Are there any other baenschi Shaped malawis that are electric yellow (like a yellow lab) coloured whilst juvenile, i think i have 2 males and 1 female as 2 have egg spots and one dosent.
Will post a pic in the morning if this dosent get anywhere as its late and im tired now to be chasing fish around with a camera!
 
They are very likely to be Baenschi going by your description, there are 1 or 2 other peacocks that have some yellow in them but not in such a distinctive way as Baenschi. As dthoffsett says, we'll need pics to be sure.

My only guess would be peacocs( forgot how to spell it). Beacuase they change colors and can be sold in many different color variteties.
