New Fish Guy!

Hello all.

I'm Craig 28 from Lancashire.

I have a 220 litre tank with tiger barbs, dwarf, rainbows, sword tails, gold rams, normal rams, bristle nose plecs, peppered corys, killis, firemouths, emerald eyes and neons.

I was dead against my girlfriend setting up our first 60 ltr tank, but then I became obsessed!!! I do have a 125 ltr fluval I was setting up for cichlids, but my rented house has been sold so i have to get rid of one. Gutted. So have a look in the classifieds if your keen as its cheap. As I need to get sorted quickly. But I'm hoping I can keep running my big tank.
Anyways, put the violins away and hello everybody!

Welcome to the forum! Alot of your fish are not compatible... Rams, need water of a higher temperature than other fish. Firemouths are very aggressive, but may work. Ill let someone else take over from here...

Strange, my fire mouths have never attacked a thing and my rams tried to have babies on more than one occasion.
I thought if fish were stressed or unhappy in any way they would not even attempt this?
Also I've been in numerous fish shops, with with what I would say are knowledgable people as I always ask if the fish will be compatable.
Don't get me wrong or think I'm arguing in any way as I love to learn about anything I can related to the hobby, so any info you can give would be very helpful. Just the behaviour of the fish and what you say and what the fish have done seems to go against the grain.
