New Fish Care

so I put the new fish in just yesterday. I didnt feed them right away because I thought I remembered that it wasn't a good idea to feed them before they have time to adjust from being moved.

The mollies are having a grand old time munching on the algae that was in the tank but should I feed some flake food now that they've been in there for almost 24 hours?

Yep, go ahead and feed them like you normally would.

You can actually feed them as soon as you get them home, it's just a question of whether they'll eat it or not, depending on how stressed they are.

Remember, a good rule of thumb is to feed only as much as the fish will eat in 2 minutes. If there is still food left after 2 minutes, you have fed too much.
