Hello, Last saturday I went to Petco. I picked up a LOT of plants, some small hiding areas, and a nice white sand bottom. I also got 4 females, two red ones, a white/red one, and a blue one. Right now the tank is doing really good, all the fishys seem to be getting along, and I have not noticed any fighting. I am debating on getting a snail or shrimp. I figure a snail would be ok with the bettas but I am not sure about a shrimp. What would you all suggest for that? If a shrimp will not work are there any other creatures I could put in with them? I am also going back to Petco this weekend and I am going to pick up another betta :D. I will try to get pics but my camara phone is having problems.

Females can usually be together without killing each other.

How big is the tank? If it's 10 gallons, you're really at your limit with four females. You could fit another betta in there, or shrimp if you want to risk it (they'll probably get eaten), but a snail would produce too much waste, methinks.

I agree. My snail is a messy little critter, it has its' own tank.

I would leave the setup as is.

I wasn't planning on getting anymore bettas for this tank, I am buying another 2.5 gallon hex tank and a male CT. I will just leave this tank as it is now.
