New Female Betta

I bought my other half a surprise mustard gas female for one of his birthday presents. He has always wanted a MG betta, preferably a male but with no space for a male i thought id get the female i spotted. She was delivered to me yesterday but unfortunalty was already dead she was a gorgeous little thing as well with lovely colours. I sorted it with the seller and got my full refund with no hassle. Unfortunatly there was no heat pack in her box so the little thing was freezing. This is the first DOA i have witnessed in all my deliveries and it wasnt nice she was buried in my back garden with the other fish.
Anyway, I told him that his present had been delivered and the story etc.
He didn't like any of the others the seller had to offer so he eventually picked a lovely female from bettaboys (the site lilfishie was on about the other week) She is the metallic yellow girl. Not quite the MG he wanted but she is still stunning.
She should be with me tomorrow

She sounds super Vicki. Siobhan- she sounds exactly like what Nat wants to go with her yellow and white male for breeding! You don't see many yellows so can't wait to see pics I'm sure you're bf will love her Vicki!

Poor little MG I'm still waiting for my MG girl that was posted out on Tuesday. I thought she would have been here today, and just hope that she does arrive safe and soon

So sorry to hear about your MG lady....seems lie the post people of the uk have had a bad week delivering fish...but no heat pack is not good. At least Foo was still heated when he finally arrived.! Pleased you found a replacement though....these fish do certainly seem to rule our lives!!!!

Im at work so pics wont be added until tonight, he is picking her up at 1 once he finishes work to take her home to her new tank
She is floating in her bag in a tub of warm water on my desk at the minute just to be on the safe side
