New Eheim 2217 Needs Better Instructions

When my friend moved home to the South Pacific a few years ago, I was blessed with a Giant Gurami, a 100+ gal aquarium and a bunch of staples to get it going. Remembering that the loaner Eheim filter was quiet and highly regarded, I just bought a new 2217, purported to be capable of up to 160 gals of service. while I admit to being impressed that Eheim publishes their literature in 19 different languages, I'm equally disappointed that the manual has so little information in any of them, especially the one I'm familar; English.

Can someone point me toward a resource specific to the Eheim Classic models, as I would imagine they're all quite similar, other than dimensions? Thanks, Lives4golf

What issue (apart from instructions missing) are you having with the filter, many here use that and other classic models and maybe able to guide you in the right direction to sort any issues you are having with it. The leaflet that comes with it, does have English instructions and are fairly straight forward but sometimes they arent easy to prime, is this the problem?

I'm with minxfishy here. the instructions are more than up to the job, even in English. just where are you having problems?
