Excited to be placing an order for 3 eels within the next week.
Going to be getting 2 unicolor babies and 1 larger dayi.

Unfortunately our adult unicolor (Venom) passed recently and we are so excited to see them in stock so soon. We thought it would be never with the tariffs, thankfully we're wrong.

Also looking to get a fire eel in the future.

Have plans to build a large plywood tank in our basement this summer, it will become home for my crassipinnis, the larger eel/s and possibly my sailfin pleco. I would move the royal plecos, but the crappies (crassipinnis) are algae wafer HOGS. So I would be worried about the royals getting enough food.

BTW I currently have 2 Borneo eels, 1 starlight eel, 1 tire track, 3 mastacembelus and a partridge in a pear tree, lol.

So I did it, I placed the order and was surprised to see they also had p.myersi (giant kuhli loach) and p.anguillaris (silver kuhli loach) in stock, so I added seven of each. They also had banjo cats at an excellent price so I added two more for current collection of five. They don't start shipping until after the 6th so I place the delivery date for the 8th which will be a warm day here in Illinois. I also am having them delivered to my sister's workplace so that they're not sitting outside on a cold concrete until someone can get home, which won't be until after 6:00 pm for me. I would love to have it shipped by me, but I'm not sure how they are with having live fish delivered in a large box, and I don't want to push it since it's a relatively new job.

The unicolor eels are literally babies at 5-7"(grow to 24+"), due to their size I got 2. The dayi is large at 8-10" (grows to 18") and it's a close cousin to tire track eels.

Sounds like you’ve ordered a gold mine of fish! I’m intrigued by the giant khulis I didn’t know they had bigger brothers, I wonder if they have double the energetic personality

I had them years ago when I had golden dojo loaches in a 75 with a lushly planted tank courtesy of a CO2 system and dry fertilizer. They were a lot more active then their smaller stripey cousins. They (as well as the 🦓 cousins) have been hard to find online and in LFS, and keep alive. The black kuhli loaches seem to be hardier and easier to find. To be honest, they are a lot more active than their smaller 🦓 cousins. Although like cory, different pangio species will happily group together and love big colonies making the whole group a lot more active... definitely a more the merrier loach, lol.
