The first photo shows Punctatus (not sure of exactly which ones), the second shows Julii.

Really? So are the first ones Punctatus, and if so, can you nail it down even better?

Edit: I just looked up both julii and trilli, and I honestly can't tell the difference. How can you? This has me buffaloed.

True Julii's have spots instead of squiggly pattern,whereas as Tri's also known has three line cories,due to 3 stripes along their sides,have squiggly spots joined up if you know what i mean

Yours are 3 line/trilineatus corys
Its common for tri's to be mis-sold has julii's,also known has false Julii & some places even put leopard cories down for julii's

your Punctatus corys looks like them also known has spotfin cory or spotted cory

Yeah my local dealer has what he says are small Julii for £6.50 each but they're not Julii at all as I've learnt to tell the difference now, with the spots and stripes! He says they were sold to him at the dearer price by the importer so "must be Julii". Well £6.50 is too dear for a Trileanatus. Of course the importer is right and not Chris, a mere customer.

Julii
Mainly spots on head and body.

Trilineatus
Mainly squiggles on head & body.Although do get a few spots,but mostly squiggles.

In looking very closely, I might have some of both.
