i have a 56 gallon and just want a few suggestions and comments
as this will be my first community tank.

5 dwarf gourami
7 glowlight danios
2 choclate mollys
1 bristlenose pleco
1 red tail shark
2 swordtails
1 angelfish

i know the rts mite be a bit of a miss fit but ive heard they can do fine sometimes i reall hope it does coz i love them

Dwarf Gourami are prone to disease so I would avoid adding them and go for Honey Gouramies instead.
Red Tail Sharks can be aggressive but some people keep them with no problems. It might be worth looking at the Ruby Shark as I understand these to be a little better behaved.
What sex are the Swordtails?

swordtails 1 male 1 female should i get another female?

i will have a look at the ruby shark i dont know what they look like. thanks

that should be fine as long as u have more females than males but they should be ok as an single pair

sorry i do know what they look like i only know them as the rainbow shark. are they supposed to be less aggresive?

do u think it would make much difference if i put the shark in last so he didnt feel as threatened when i add new fish?

Ideally, you would be best keeping at least two females to a male, although I usually recommend four females per male to customers.
Although the tank is a good size, the male may end up pestering the female and stressing her out.
This is a Ruby shark:

yeah they are nice to i dont think i will have enough room for a few of them due to the size they grow and unfortunatley i dont have room for a bigger tank
the place where i get my fish from are really good family business and will take the shark back if they dont get along so i might just have to see how i get on with 1 and keep my eye on them
would it make a difference adding it last to the tank or not?

Keeping one shark in a tank is fine as they will become aggressive towards each other if kept in a group.
You could try adding it last, although they are generally less aggressive when juvenille. Just make sure you have plenty of caves or hiding places for it.

yeah i have plenty of cave s i decorated my tank with him in mind thats y i am so set on keeping onw with my community
thanks for the help
