New community and Martha pics!

Just re-aquascaped the community and Martha's tanks and managed to get a few decent shots as everyone was ushered from their hiding places and hurrying to find new homes.

Martha didn't seem to care about the rearrangement. She just wanted to sit and look pretty:

In the community tank, some of the shy guys came out to play. In particular, our Doras. Here's our original girl, Dory:

And one of her new (tiny!) companions:

Deano decided to show us just what a lard-arse he is:

The cories are always on hand to give us a smile:

And the gourami like to show off:

The neons were doing what they always do - sticking together:

And our cute little mollies where curious:

This one wants to take on the kribs!:

The golden nuggets are difficult to photograph because they don't keep still for 5 seconds:

However, the rubberlips seem to like being the center of attention:

Finally, the plecos all found an new home together. Dominated by Big Jif of course:

Is it sand that Martha always has on her back? She always looks somewhat "dirty". Not a bad thing, I think it's super cute!!

Awwww! What sweeties! Martha is lookin good as always, and they all look super cute. Love the cory picture, that is just too cute! The Doras is kinda ugly though...I'm not a fan What is Deano? And all your plecs are sooo gorgeous!

Martha's just over 7" now.

Certainly is - she likes to try and bury herself in the sand.

What is Deano? 

Deano is a Marbled Syno or synodontis shoutedeni.

You probably have heard of them - they are also known as the Raphael catfish. They get to about 6/7" and like to be kept in small groups. They are omnivorous and will eat any smaller fish that fit in their mouths.

I like them because they look like larger predatory catfish while remaining reasonably small.
