hi guy Im new here and i need some advie on my new 35litre tank (currently cycling). i would love a black moore goldfish and another fish probs a fancy. i know a 35 litre will be no way big enough to house the fully growns and i am prepared to get a bigger tank when the time comes for that. Any advise or suggestions? my tank is coldwater.

:) ok thankyou. any onther fish i could get in there that would last about a year in a tank that size (im not too keen on WCMMs)
thanks for the help

Check out the various goodeids. Many of them appreciate water that is at or below 20C and will really thrive in a tank that has its temperature vary a good deal. The usual summer / winter temperature swing in most of our homes are much appreciated by them. In my tanks, I always put a single species of goodeids with no other companions into a tank. Next thing I do is unplug the heater, I keep tropicals so my tanks do have heaters. After that it is a matter of sit back and wait for the next club fish auction so that I can sell off my surplus fish. There are some very easy goodeids and some that are not so easy but very few are community tank fish. That may be why so few are seen in the local fish shops.
