have just got a co2 system a nutrafin one....... am very new to these so not sure if its all ok.

in manual it states the first bubbles should be seen between 2-10 hours but nothing has happened! is this normal..... i am using the mix that came with he pack however have been advised to make my own mix so will change it tomorrow.

cheers everyone

hows it going laura? did you try my recepie?

also make sure the lids on tight.

edit: i have already told laura this via PM but for everyone elses benefit - i put my nutrafin cannisters in thick boot socks to keep the temp more stable. just a little tip.

yeah changed the mix today so hopefully that will work.... hehe put it in my slipper sock to keep it warm will let u know how i do

glad you recieved it ok Laura
I'm not sure how old the stuff is in the one I sent you.
the one I brought at the same time was ok.

i added my own mix and seems to be working now.... one question im unsure where to put check valve to stop water backflowing

Put the check valve near the tank as far away from the bottle as poss. This will help if you do overload the bottle and some yeast mix makes its way up tube. Hell of a lot easier to clean out tube than check valve trust me :D

no it allows gas through 1 way only and water cant come back through, check it by blowing through both ends see what happens :D
