somewhere I'm not even sure
I found an ad on a neighborhood website for a bunch of free aquarium products and I was wondering if anyone has had experience with any of these products. Are these things safe for snails and scaleless fish and is it all Freshwater products? For the lighting does it need a special lid or attachment? Thanks in advance.

I didn't post 2 of the chemicals which are large bottels of Seachem Prime so I guess those will come in use. I did some more research and I agree with you @Deanasue there is not really any use for the other things. My cories may like the pellet food though if I can get it to sink. I also have been wanting to get a strong light for my tank but would the lighting I attached a link for work on my planted tank? Would I need a special set up for the lighting?

From the picture it looks like the light, 1 bottle of prime, and the food are unopened. So are a few other chemicals but I will be careful. Thank you.

It's almost an hour away. Do you think it's worth it to go down there to get 2 bottles of prime, some food, and a liquid test kit or is it a waste of time? I'm not really sure how much use I could get out of any of the other products. If a chemical is opened would it still be safe to use in my tank?

Depends, are they big bottles of prime? A liquid test kit is around $70aud here so that is a bargain in my eyes also depends on how much is left in it.

I personally scare of it, it may include some kind of chemical in there...so be careful before using it with your fish.

I wouldn't have taken them either.

As a general rule, anything that is opened should be discarded after 12 months even if it hasn't reached the use by date because the chemicals inside could have been oxidised by the oxygen in the air which gets in after opening. Everything from test kits to medication.

Accu-clear and clarity are flocculants which are not good for fish gills.
