got a new nikon d60 thought id take a few shots of fish in auto mode not learnt to fiddle with settings just yet. here's the result!

Do you mean the eggspots? I think thats what they call them with my very limited knowledge of african cichlids. Its do do with their mating ritual I believe.

EDIT: I think its to draw the female closer, then the male well, you know 'does his stuff'.

Nice tank! nice fish! great pics! I have the same camera as a replacement when my D40 broke,it's really good,once you learn how to play with the buttons more it gets even cooler!

thanks, yes i am already realy impressed with the d60, i fiddling around with shutter speed at the moment got a great shot off a moorway bridge last nite with shutter speed right up.
