to answer a few questions,

algae crew: 1 common plec (makes more mess than he clears up so doesn't really count), 3 Amano Shrimp (out of original 6), about 6-10 cone snails (have never been able to get rid of them untill i put the riccia in, then found 20 or so on the riccia 2 days after planting it, the evening before green slime algae was forming, morning after, not a trace so i removed 10 and left the rest in there.)

plus 200ML of Rowaphos to keep the phosphate down. weekly 25% water changes.

as to fertaliser, kent marine multinutrient liquid fertiliser with waterchange plus a couple of JBL ferrotabs when the leaves go dull. thats it

as to the close ups if you take 200 pics you end up with a few good ones... sorry got too much time on my hands.

guppies not pregnant unless they can "do it" with white clouds or tetras. (i bred 4 females and the rest died months ago...)

Just a point of fact jimbooo guppies can have multiple births from just one mating.
So you might have some more on yer hands..

big C: i think your confused.

i had 4 male guppies in my 12G. bought 2 females.

all died apart from 1 female. she then gave birth to 40 fry and died herself.

out of the 40 fry 4 lived, ALL are female.

Just my luck hey...

Grey Legion: It's a red claw crab, eats any dead fish or rotting rubbish plus seems to enjoy snipping off stem plants at the root. (not the best addition to a planted tank, but i think of it as natural pruning)..
