New Brichardi

hello,

I got some new fish to add to my tank. They are brichardi and i was wondering if a Ph of 7.4 is alright for these guys. Right now My stats are :

Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0
Hardness Hard
Ph 7.4
Ammonia ?

As you can tell I do not know all the stats to this date. So if you culd tell me if my hardness and Ph is fine that would be great.

I believe that Brichardis are african cichlids, so hard water is perfect for them, I'd recommend raising the Ph to atleast 7.8 as these lovly fish are from hard, alkaline waters with a Ph of generally 8.2.

What size tank do you have? and are all the others africans?

In the tank that i have there is 1 blue gourami, 2 yoyo loaches and then the 3 brichardi. It's only a 10 gallon ,but once ive got my 29 gallon running im hoping to have other african cichlids in there. Im most likley gonna tansfer the brichardi to the 29 gallon soon once its ready.
