New Bought Plants

I recently bought some plants. They've attached them with an elastic in their tanks. I dont know whether i should remove the elastic that attaches the branches together. Also, i read that we should plant the branches close together. Is it okay to separate and plant like one branch in each area?

We really need to know the types of plants you're talking about. What have you used the elastic for exactly?

It's something like that. When i bought it, it came like with few branches attached together with an elastic rubber band

Separate each 'branch' and plant by pushing the end into the substrate. Plant each branch separately a few cm apart. That should give a nice bushy growth. Plant sounds like egeria densa?
