Fish Crazy
Ok, so I posted this in the emergencies section a few days ago, when it was a new problem, but now it has been a couple of days. So . . . all of the sudden one of my recently purchased Blue Rams was acting a little funny. I spotted him "laying" on the gravel just breathing hard. Further observation showed that when he tried to swim he swam really wierd. Kept on doing "loops" and "corkscrews" while it tried to swim. Next observation, after work, he was looking a little bit better. He had moved from off the gravel into a cave but he was chillin' almost completely vertical to the gravel, face down. A day later he is still acting funny, though he has moved a little more out into the open, but still at about a 45 degree angle. He just sits ther I've dropped some food right beside him today, and he didn't even acknowledge it.
The other ram I bought from the same brood, nother male smaller in size, is just fine.
Should I give him a some more time, or should I just exchange him. There are only a few more days. There are only a few more rams left at the store. The other problem is the LFS guy told me that the tank that they where in suddenly got ich. Dillema. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
