New Betta

I have a 26L tank with an assassin snail in and 2 pygmy corys (soon to be 6) would i be able to have enough females or would the tank be too small? Im thinking mb too small.

Also does anyone know where i can buy a cheap pk male?

Hi, I think a sorority would definitely be overstocked, as people recommend 10 gallons minimum, and that probably doesn't include tankmates. 6 pygmys and a male betta sounds full to me. I don't know where to get a cheap pk male, if your LFS doesn't have any I'd look on ebay.

I think you should stick to a male with the pygmy corys in that tank... 26l isn't large enough for a sorority. You can probs ask your LFS to order you in a plakat male - they're generally not expensive anyway, unless you maybe want a dragon.

26 isn't big enough for a sorority, but would be perfect for a male or female on their own!

PK's can be expensive from LFS - Keep an eye out on for sale threads as there may be lots of people needing to sell a PK male as they assumed/thought mis-sold it as girlie!

Without doing any looking, big_eyes (in Cumbria) has a couple of PK boys that were supposed to be girls - maybe he would post one for you?
