New Betta Tank!

My friend is moving house and is giving me a 15gal tank, it was cold water and i have a heater nokin around that should do nicley, now im not gona split the tank just for 1 Mr. Betta to live in, my first 1!! The only problem is that with the filter thats in the tank atm the betta will probably get stuck to the opposit wall of the tank sooo what filters would u recoment?
Oh and the filter is appauling!

Well I like the whisper brand. The current isn't strong and on some of them you can change how stong you want the current. (Sadly myn didn't have one ) But most filsters have to strong of a flow.

I'd try to get a filter that has an adjustable flow.

Mr. Betta will sure be spoiled with a 15 gallon tank to himself!

I wanted to be fancy so I made a little canister filter for my new betta tank. It runs at 200lph which is probably a bit more flow than I would need but the little guy is a short tail and he swims in the current of a 500lph power head in the community tank at the moment. You could use as small a powerhead as you wanted.
