New Betta...sick Or Stressed Out?

Yes I should have put him in something bigger to begin with, I agree with you. He was acting strange from the beginning though. I don't think I'm going to buy bettas there anymore. Another time I bought a fish there and it died a few days later. Took it back and they said it was their fault because of some mishap with cleaning, the betta water had been overdosed with ammonia. I guess a lot of their fish had died or gotten an ammonia burn. I will know better next time to recognize what is wrong quicker. Thanks for all the advice though!

You're right, meeshelle, buy from a good, reputable breeder - that LFS sounds outright scary.
And while planned betta rescues are great, the emotional (and financial, in the lower-income, like myself) effects of battling to save sick fish can be devastating.
I'm hoping for pics of your other fish, and the new one when you get it?
