I was a bit worried this morning as my new betta (had him four days), was spending a lot more time than usual at the back of the tank near the heater (temp 26). However, I am pretty sure he is making a sizable bubble nest there, as in that back corner, there are lots of bubbles along corner of the tank at the surface.

Does this mean he is happy in his new home - in other words am I being tottally paranoid!

He is still swimming around, but is restricing himself a lot more to that area.

He is so gorgeous, I just want the best for him!

mine always rests on the heater even tho there are loads of plants to rest on and caves to hide in...they just seem to like it there. i dont blame them...must be warm and cozy.
good luck with your new boy!!!

Mine likes sitting on the heater aswell then once he sees me turn around to watch him he comes to the front and spreads his fins fully showing off at the front swimming back and forth

ive had a betta for a couple of months now and he spends most of his time under the heater or in a cave, think they just like to hide!
