New Betta Pairs!

Hey guys, so this will be my second attempt at breeding bettas. Last time it went great. I only kept one female though and the rest I gave away. Not into selling them or anything, its more or less a hobby. Last time i bred a (blue butterfly halfmoon male) with a red cambodian crowntail female. the result were halfmoon(pointed ends) bettas with blue/green bodies and red fins. Like i said i kept one female. Months later I came across a rosetail betta at my neighborhood pet store- I KNOW HOW UNBELIAVABLE, ive seen them so expensive online and this one only cost my $5.99, granted the scales on the body are a bit off but i find the tail magnificant. anyway here are some pics and lets see were this goes...

hhehe i tried breeding bettas but it didnt work are those from a breeder or pet store?

hey, yeah breeding them can be very tricky especially if the male and female dont get along.... their so far flaring up but no bubble nest or vertical stripes... trying to change from blood worms to live baby brine shrimp and introduced yet more plants.... we'll see what happens....

as for the other question.... the male was store bought and the female was one of the fry from the last pair i mated- which were also store bought.
