New Betta - Ct

Bought this a coupel of days ago.. I've really gone off him now I liked him in the shop, but once i'd got him home and put him in the tank i suddenly didn't anymore Think im going a bit weird...

Anyway... New betta...

I've done that, too. Getting home and thinking "Why did I pick that one?". Oddly enough, it was one that was a very similar color. I've had him for a year now and take care of him the same as the others but he's just not my favorite. Hopefully yours will develop a more interesting personality than mine did. I think that's my main problem with him. He never acts happy, and never has an interest in flaring at any other fish I put near him. He swims around, not just laying on the bottom, but just seems...boring.

Everything is beautiful in its own way! He probably thinks the same about you. I always try to match the coloured glass pebbles to the betta (sad init) but it just makes them look brighter.

Almost everytime I have bought a betta at the store when i got home and got them in their tank, they weren't what I thought they were at the store. I think the lighting at the stores are different and make the colors stand out more. Cuz the colors are always different than what they looked like in the cups. But I ended up loving all of them, except one...I never really got attached to one of them.

Neptune is the same way. He is like the most boring betta on Earth! He's so lazy, and he doesnt even take interest in Ariel!

Me, too. We thought they were all perfect and totally different colors, but the blue water throws their colors off .
He's a cute CT though!

I've even bought them in clear water (well as clear as dirty water can be ) and they were still a different color than they looked at the store.

Dont worry, he will have a good home I just got him home and thought 'umm... why?!!!' I think the problem was that i had to choose between two i liked, and i think i should have picked the other one Oh well!

He is a cutie!! But I know what you mean about having to choose between 2 things and kind of regreting your decision! I do that alot, not just with fishies!
