SRC is right; if you're planning on getting more then one betta, then by having a couple fish shipped from Linda's all together you'd save yourself quite a bit. It's the one large parcel that costs so much, not the individual fish, so it wouldn't cost a great deal more to stick in an extra betta or two

Thanks for all your replies.
Now, don't be encouraging me to get a bunch of bettas; I already have about a zillion corys in my apartment. I know how addictive they can be, and it would be soooooo easy for me to carried away!
I haven't received an email from Linda to let me know that he shipped, so I'm wondering if there will be a delay.
I do expect a box of corys today from another source, and he should arrive then too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes according to plan.

As a transshipper, I suppose that in theory Linda could ship whatever was shipped to her. As a Canadian, if I ever ordered internationally I would be dealing with Katherine Stuart, the Canadian transshipper, so I've never bothered to look into what varieties Linda's involved with, but it couldn't hurt to ask her about cories.
