my jag was like i dunno uglier, it had like 2 vertical stripes, and was just like light green and dark green, i didnt like how it was turning out so i sold it.

At least hes gone to someone that cares for his looks ;)
always look in the tank and try and find the healthiest and most colourful fish, thats how i picked out my terror

same! i gotta get some pics of my GT up, he's awesome looking, but doesnt have a hump cuz the red devil thinks he's the most dominant (and just outgrew the terror)

A jag could decimate a parrot if it wanted to.. Most parrots cant even bite, so the only way it would defend itself would be to hide. It would probably try to nip at the jag, but it would be no contest IMO.

heh too true, but unless that jag reli ripped up them parrots, they wouldnt stop
anyways this jags reli quite an odd fish :p unlike all the others he takes great pleasure of sitting at the front of the tank and watching everything, my bro ahs said "when he see's us he comes up because hes hungry"
when he can usually be see either watching us from afar or terrorizing smaller and bigger fish :p
Though he his Terrorfied of My Common snake head, Who he tried to fight yesterday
snake heads like 2-3" bigger, the jag tried to stand up to it, and all the snakehead did was swim towards it and that
jag was off like a rocket XD

he/she has been building a "nest" and guarding that corner of the aquarium very aggressively. i have a female black convict in there too, and she has been guarding her spot the same way. they will nip at and chase any fish that comes near their areas.
the aquarium is a U.S. 135-gallon. i have a clown knife (~18"); an african brown knife (adult, ~7"); the two cichlids above; a senegal bichir, (~11"); and a pleco.

my lovely jag is recovering all of his scales from a massive attack from my sajica/con hybrid who was protecting his spawn from the jag...
hes doing fine but i bet hes gonne have some scars

my jag laid eggs a few minutes ago. there is no male in the aquarium though. will the other fish eat them? do i need to get them out?
