That's just one of them, I'll update with a few more photos a littlem later tonight.

They're Carinotetraodon irrubesco, red-eye, red-tail puffers. More photos to come a bit later :)

Cute ! Where did you get them from ?
I'm sure they'll look much more beefy in a couple of weeks :flex:

I got them from Dan @ tropicalimports.co.uk who couriered them to me overnight. Lovely big warm box, fish arrived swimming and healthy! I was really sceptical about mail order, but, this really set me straight :)

Yeah, they look a bit skinny and their teeth are a bit long I think, might need a trim. They're eating live bloodworm at the moment though, and I bought them some shelled prawns from sainsburys ("2 shell on prawns please" "what?") and some daphnia so they'll be nice and tubby soon.

I'd have tons of photos by now if they'd only hold still...

Thanks for the comments :D

you're unemployed right? is this what my taxes are paying for?!

Now, now Bennett. Don't take your aggression out on Fella. Save it to those who really deserve it: MAILMEN WHO'S KEEPING YOUR FISHY THINGS HOSTAGE!!! :<

Oh, nice fish, Fella! I'm getting my fish next week. I could only hope that they arrive in good condition like yours did!

lmfao

we're talking on msn so it's funnier!

Haha, I'm not claiming benefit! living off money I earnt in my last job!

If I get the new job I've got an interview for on friday, there will probably be pictures of much bigger puffers along the line...

Omigosh, so adorable! You people with these puffers need to stop posting pics and tempting me :X

I have been planing on getting one of these for about 2 months but couldnt find them anywhere!! i have to check that site out :D Seeing how cute he/she is just makes me want one even more :(

Sadly the male never put on any weight after that, and died. He was probably too thin to be posted.

I haven't seen the female eat since I've had her, but she's still quite tubby and alive, so, I'm hoping she's alright.

I'm going to london on wednesday to pick up another pair, to give me the ideal breeding hareem of 1 male and 2 females.

Keeping fish is an expensive lark.
