New Aquarium

I've been thinking and suppose I got a new aquarium, and I also own another not-so-new aquarium with fish etc running for 2 yrs. What if I pour the old tank's water into the new one. Will I have to cycle the new tank then?

I'm afarid the water won't really make any difference to the cycle as the bacteria lives in the filter.
You could try taking some of the media from your existing filter to add to the new one and this will help speed things up.
Another alternative would be to run the new filter alongside your existing one for a couple of weeks, again it'll hurry things along.
