Hello, I'm a beginner aquarist who's had several tanks over the duration of time, and am looking to expand my fish variety beyond a dozen guppies to bigger, better, and more beautiful fish.

Unless all the guppies are one sex you'll soon expand beyond a dozen.

Welcome to the forum, good luck with your guppy program, you will quickly get much more than a dozen if you have males and females together.
