New Airpump Issue

Bought a Tetratech APS 300 to replace a noisey interpet airvolution. I know the interpet has only one line and the tetratech has 2, but hooking up one of them to my airstone gives off a tiny ammount of bubblescompared to the interpet is this a problem? or is there something wrong on my part? have I just bought a weaker model? and if not, if its teh two lines that are the problem, is there a way to hook them up to the same airstone?

Update: I created a T-junction but it didnt help

Have you tried blocking the second outlet? I haven't got one of those but sounds like that's what you need to do...

did that, it was no better, and with the t junsction, again, no better

Bring it back? It may be faulty I guess. Bring your old one to the shop as well so you can tell them the problem.

whats the best air pmp i can get thats going to be whisper quiet/silent?
