I noticed that since I've joined here, the number of fish that I have has gone up drastically. I started with 4 bettas, and now have 9. Which will soon be more I'm sure.
So saturday my girlfriend, her mom, and me were all at walmart. I planned on buying a new bowl for one of my bettas, and ended up looking at the bettas. When I saw this poor blue boy with hardly any dorsal. Just one little piece of it. I didn't get any great pictures yet. All of my fish are in the basement, with the exception of the 25g tall tank upstairs. So the lack of good light makes the pictures have a yellow or orange look. But here he is with the best picture that shows his lack of a dorsal.
He's perfectly healthy, just lacks a dorsal. And there's scales over where it should be so I'm stumped to know if it is a genetic thing or if someone did it to him. But he also has a gill plate that is permanently partially flared.
But here's some of my new ones from Wuv.
My new male orange/red plakat.
And the big fat red boy. He's huge! And a lazy bum, that just likes to lay around.
And one of the females from wuv, she's such a fattie! And hangs out in the spout of her 1 gallon tea pot. "Haha you can't take a good picture of me!" she says.
And I thought this was a great picture of Turan. Her fins are healing up well, that Indian Almond leaf has done wonders.
And my copper girl. I just love taking pictures of her.
Enjoy!
