yep its a RedClaw Cherax quadricarinatus see below for size. and she cost £5.95Nice Yabby, love the red and blue. Do you know what sort it is, how big it is and how much did it cost you?
nope she is in a community tank, she is about 2&1/2 inches nose to tail and add 1/2 for the claws. i have two Cobalt Blue Cherax quadricarinatus comming, and they will be housed in a Juwel 180, with a Rainbow shark, two Angels, a Plec and some Rock Shrimp. though this will depend how mature the Crays are when they arrive. if they are too young they will go into the tank on their own first.Do you have a bunch of crays in the same tank? how big?
/www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=162373&hl=you can put him in the tank he should be fine. the only time u may have to keep an eye on him is when he sheds his skin because his new outter shell will be very soft for around a week. watch out tho, they are known to prey on fish that are asleep on the bottom of the tank!!
good luck james B)
