Hi guys, I have just bought a 70" x 24" tank and I want some advice on lighting. I currently have a 200 litre planted tank (I will attach a photo) and I would like to get the same or similar level of plants growing in the new big tank. Any advice would be great. Was thinking about LED lights but so much info on the internet I became overwhelmed. I should add that I don't use c02 and have only just started adding fertilizer the past couple of weeks...so I would say it's a low to medium tech situation I am running. Thanks in advance.

Low to medium tech plants will be fine with a T5 lighting system.

Dosing plants regularly with fertilisers will help maintain plant growth and health.

If you ever want to go higher tech, and want to try LED,  you will probably then need to dose Co2, either pressurised or liquid as well as continuing to dose ferts.

There are whole sections in the planted section on this forum that will help with more detailed advice and specific areas. Would recommend having a look through that for ideas and more tips.
