Its been a while since I have posted on here. I have just ordered a 640L Cleair Adriatic 630 Aquarium which includes an 80L sump instead of a filter!
My plan is to have it with big shoals of fish (mainly tetras) and invertebrates with lots of plants - Basically a large version of what I have now!
My questions relate to the sump as previously I have only had external filters. From my understanding the filter media goes in the 2 of the 3 sump compartments with my heaters and a pump in the 3rd chamber. I want quite a lot of water movement, especially because of my fan shrimp and lots of filter media so how do i begin selecting the pump? There are some which flow over 10000L per hour!
Also what size heaters should I get? Our house is well insulated and stays warm over winter so I was thinking 2 x 300w heaters would be adequate.
