New 60Ltr Tank Stocking

Hi i have a 4ft barb tank and have now been given a new 2ft tank that i would like to stock with some colourfull fish for my wife
and was looking at dwarf cichlids (i have a lot of spare rock)
or mayby platies
will my tank take these and if so what sort of numbers would i be looking at?

As you will see from my signature I have a 60L populated with platies and when I say populated I mean just that - I started off with one adult pair and now have several offspring of various ages. They breed like rabbits (every 4-5 wks once they start) so unless you get all males or all females if you do choose platies, be warned! lol

I reckon a 60l is a bit on the small side for even dwarf cichlids.
 
How's about a stocking like this
 
6 x Salt & Pepper Corydoras (Corydoras Habrosus)
6 x Chilli Rasbora (Bororas Brigittae)
6 x Male guppies (all of the same colour strain, and not red)
