New 55gallon Advise Needed

I really want to try a dicus tank but can't fit many into a 55g if i do can i mix anything in or to small???
I also like tetra's,Rasboras,loaches,some Angels,barbs.....
HMMMMM should i just go for a marine? Muhahahah somebody stop me Grrrrrr

Go heavily planted and 50 neons x.0 It actually looks pretty cool. Plants + neons actually looks pretty cool, but seriously, if you want a community tank, cories and livebearers all the way. Easy, fun to watch, and you might get some babies, which is always cool to see.

Ok disscus you might get away with 4-5 and some cardinals (more cardinals - less disscus) don't get less than 4 as troubles are gonna start to ocur.

A school of C. sterbai would be lovely in a discus tank. They are beautiful corys and one of the few that can thrive in the warm water discus require.
