New 25Gal Tank Need Help?

I just finished setting up a 25gal tank. My 1st tank No fish Yet. I was told to turn the filter on and let it run about 3days for the Nitrogen Cycle?
and I need to get some plants too? I want to learn about the fish i will add. Been looking at some parrot fish or gold fish. been told I can only have 2 gold fish. I would like more then 2 fish so I am open for suggestions? I know the rule 1" per gal

Do I need a air bubblier? the tanks is deep will air get to the bottom
How long should I wait before adding Fish?

You should read up on cycling here.
You need to do more than have the tank running for 3 days. You need a test kit (most people here use the API Master Test Kit), and a bottle of regular ammonia to cycle your tank.

As for fish suggestions, there are way too many to simply recommend some. It would be useful to know the exact dimensions of your tank, as well as your water pH, etc, first. Or, you could go to your LFS and list the species that you like, and come back here for suggestions.

Most fish tanks should receive enough air as long as there is surface agitation, but an airstone never hurts.
