New 160litre

got MTS! buying a 160litre tank and want another community tank like my 60litre. Would this be ok? Want a nice bit of colour

10 neon tetras
10 rasbora (not sure which ones yet)
2 sunset platy's
2 red platy
2 neon blue platy
3 male guppies


all platies male if i can

I would get cardinal tetra's over neon tetra alot more hardier and don't have to worry about ntd.
The harlequin is a great rasbora full of life and fun to watch.
Whats your tap ph.

Whether you go for Cardinals or Neons (I'd go for the former any day) you need to let the tank mature after cycling. I wouldn't add the Tetras for at least 5-6 weeks. Try to get locally bred Guppies, too.

Tap water is 7.5 at a push...its kinda in between 7 and 7.5. Would that be ok?

Any other reccomendations miss wiggle to put in alongside them?

i'd go for a couple of slightly larger fish to give it a bit of variety mabe a pair of gouramis, rams, kribs or apistogramma would be nice

also consider some bottom crew as you've unused room there, maybe a shoal of cories or a nice little plec

I agree with miss wigggle I would keep away from gouramis alot of problems at the moment due to a plague.
