New 110L Tank Swap

Guys i picked up a new 110l fish tank today. Im just wondering can i transfer the water over and use the same filter for the tank. Or would this not work. It will be the same water same fish and same filter? my previous tank is a 65l tank?

no point keeping the old water it does not house the bacteria in any great volume. fill the new tank treat it and put the old filter job done

Well yes but things to think about, match temp of the tanks, you have doubled the volume of water can the olf filter handle it? Do you have a water test kit to keep on eye on the new tank?

Agree with BBA, always use a test kit to monitor the water chemistry for a week or so when making changes, even if it seems like you shouldn't have to. WD
