Hi all new to the forum and fish keeping really bought a second hand tank with fish filter heater etc. Fish that came with tank are five dalmation mollies and two silver sharks and 3 unkown fish i added two nale guppies and five neom tetras.

The sharks are really jumpy is that normal ? They keep wrecking plants etc thinking of getting rid og them

Also wat tank cleaners would be good for the tank?

And i also really like kribs and blue rams would they be ok or can anyone recomend any other centrepiece fish

Thanks all

Silver Sharks are very active nervous fish that reach ~40cm, I would not put them in anything less than a 12-foot tank.

You should hopefully be a good tank cleaner. ;)

Blue Rams need a specialist setup, soft acidic water with minimum 27C, which is too warm and different to your existing fish needs (Mollies need hard alkaline water, or low end brackish serves them well).

Kribs might work depending upon tank dimensions, however Guppies and Neon Tetra will not take many hits to kill by protective Krib parents.

The 3 mystery fish, got a photo (upload to somewhere like Imageshack and them use the embed code to post it here)?

The unknow fish are the two silver ones on the left

So what would be best kept with kribs

Thanks for the quick reply

Tank dimensions are 30 inch by 12 by 17

Your 'unknown' fish are pristella and black (or possibly red, I can't tell from that pic) phantom tetras.

Thanks for that great advice and they are black sorry for poor quality picture

lol, that's ok; fish are terrible things to photograph!
