Heres the specs: it has a few fake plants, and has a 3i internal whisper filter(all icould find), but notwith the original airpump, we're using an airpump for up to 30 gallons thus powering up the filter itself somewhat...
The tank has a single ghost shrimp in htere at the moment(lol i got it when i got hte tank..)
i will get more shrimps, but at the moment i have planted for 2-3 guppies for sure, and not sure what else to put in there, i may aquire a better filter though, and the tank has no hood.
Maximum of 6 other fish to be placed in that tank

Very important questions first

1) how long has your tank been running?

2) has it cycled?

3) what are your stats. ie. ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and ph values?

4) without a hood you have no lights and difficulty in regulating temperature

5) why have you placed this in the pictures forum? ....better in the chit-chat forum

If you are not sure what I am on about you are not ready for fish (in that case read pinned post on "cycling)

:good:

Its been on a fishless cycle for about 2-3 weeks now, ammonia levels are at 0 and nitrite, not sure about nitrates, also te room temp stays constant at 74, tank has been up for about 3 weeks now, and i forgot tto add the part ill put pics in a bit once i find my cam :p
PH is at a 6.9....lol im thinking maybe 2-3 guppies(my friend needs to get rid of a few) and a school of neon tetras(wil they eat guppy fry??)

Ok, you need to know about nitrates. 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites are right but if no reading of nitrate (up to 5 is ok) then cycle has not started.

You say room temp is constant 74 but what is your tank temp? (you do have a heater and gauge?)

Oh btw, just about EVERYTHING eats guppy fry

tank temp is usually 2-3 below that
and , that means ill put a school of either neon, bloodfin, or glowlight tetras inside the tank, i wonder which would be best, the tank isnt heavily decorated though...
