i have one gorrami and three angel fish that have been in a 19 gall tank. tank has been active for 6 months. the fish were rubbing against stinks in the tank and i went to lps and they gave me api general cure. i put two packs in and 48 hrs later i did again. 48 hrs after last treatment i did 25-35% water change.(as per instructions on the box. since then in about three weeks i have done 25% water change every sun. the fish look like they have dandriff on gorami and one angle fish... is this a desiase , is this going to be passed to other angels?

sounds like white spot 2 me wots the demnetions of the tank becasue 19 g sounds a little small for angels also wots the ammonia reading ???

tank is 36 inch x 12 inch x 16 inch
api fresh water twinn bottle nh3/nh4 test just did = between 0ppm and .25 ppm

This treatment is okay but if you do not see any improvement in a few days I would seek other treatment.

P.S. If those dimensions are correct, you have a 30 gallon tank.

yes is saw the calculator up top and used it then i almost jump out of my seat... the sighn said 19 and i paid $40 got a good deal

$40! OMG I paid $150 for my 22 gal.

GREEN!! lol

What is on the fish? Ich/whitespot looks like the fish was sprinkled with grains of salt. There are other diseases that can cause flaking of the skin or scales coming off and most are serious. A photo or more detailed description would be helpful.

Not trying to hijack this thread but I came across a deal a few months ago. I got a 55 gallon tank for $50 and also a 30 gallon for $25. On top of that I got given a 10 gallon and a 28 gallon aquarium. Talk about right place right time!
